Esta fue la primera película que se hace tras el timeskip y en el Nuevo Mundo, en la que los Sombrero de Paja deberán luchar contra su enemigo mas fuerte, un hombre llamado «Z». Se estrenó el 15 de Diciembre de 2012[1]. La película fue dirigida por Tatsuya Nagamine (película 8) y supervisada por Eiichiro Oda, como productor ejecutivo, quien hizo lo mismo con la Película 10, en la que también fue el escritor. Yasutaka Nakata interpreta o escribe el tema principal de la película.
Se ubicaría antes de la saga de Punk Hazard después del episodio 578 donde salieron los episodios especiales de la película.
